We are pleased to partner with the Parent Education Consortium again to bring a FREE 6 week series of small group meetings to our Cedar Rapids center. “Parenting Young Children (0-5 years)” will begin March 8th every Thursday evening (5:30 – 7:45 pm) for 6 weeks. Topics of discussion will range from understanding child development and behavior to guidance and discipline techniques and creating environments that encourage child growth. Each meeting will include dinner for the entire family, a parent/child activity and parents group/childcare. This is open to all our HIH families from all locations and will also be open to friends of our families. The family must have at least one child under the age of 6. A free meal, childcare and program materials will be provided. Seating is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Please see the front office area for registration paperwork.
